Sending and receiving SMS

KissBook sends guests text messages for you, and you can send your own from a booking. You can also text your team. Everything sent appears on the Messages page. Go to Messages to see it.

Texting a guest

  1. Open the booking and select SMS.
  2. Check the mobile number. It must be an Australian mobile. The guest’s number is filled in for you.
  3. Edit the message. It starts with the guest’s first name, the booking number and your park’s name and phone. A counter shows how many text messages it will use.
  4. Select send. You return to the booking with a confirmation.

If the booking has no guest yet, the SMS button is hidden. Add a guest first.

Guest replies to texts

  • Guests cannot reply to these texts. They can call or text you on the numbers in the message.

Texting your team

  1. Go to Messages and select SMS Staff.
  2. Tick the people to text, or tick All, and write the message.

Texting your team is not open to every account. If you see a message that you are not authorised, contact KissBook. Only team members with a mobile number saved appear in the list. Add numbers: Go to Settings > Staff Settings.

Checking which texts were sent

  • On the Messages page, the Guest SMS and Staff SMS tabs list the latest messages with the number, date and start of the text.
  • Select a message to see who sent it (KissBook for automatic texts), the number, the date and time in your park’s time zone, and the full text.
