Taking card payments

Connect a Stripe account so guests can pay by card when they book. This is the last step of the setup guide.

How to connect Stripe in setup

  1. Go to Settings > Park Setup Guide > Payment Setup.
  2. Select Connect with Stripe and follow Stripe’s sign-up. You can create a new Stripe account or connect one you already have.
  3. When you come back, the page shows that your Stripe account is connected. Select Complete Setup.

Stripe fees and the booking fee

  • Card payments go to your own Stripe account. Stripe’s processing fees are your park’s cost. Terms of Service section 6.1 covers this.
  • The booking fee of $3.00 (GST included) is added to the guest’s total and collected separately. See Booking fees.
  • Add your bank account in Stripe’s own settings so Stripe can pay you.
  • Until Stripe is connected, guests see “Online payment unavailable” and a note to contact your park. You can still take payments yourself with a custom payment method.
