Changing booking dates

Move a booking’s check-in or check-out date to make the stay longer or shorter. KissBook only offers dates that are free on that site.

Change the check-in date

  1. On the booking page, select the check-in date.
  2. Choose a new date from the list. Dates already taken by another booking on the site are greyed out. The list shows nights counted from each date.
  3. Select Update Checkin Date.

Change the check-out date

  1. Select the check-out date on the booking page.
  2. Choose a new date and select Update Checkout Date.

What changing dates affects

  • The check-in list reaches back up to 14 nights. The check-out list reaches forward to about 90 days. Both stop at the next booking on the same site.
  • If the date you need is blocked, move the booking to another site first, or change the other booking.
  • The booking’s total is worked out from its nights, so it follows the new dates. Check the amount owing on the booking page afterwards. If the guest owes more, take payment. If they have paid too much, refund them yourself.
  • The booking fee is not refunded when a booking is changed. See Booking fees.
  • Changing dates does not email the guest. Use email to tell them.
