Go to Calendar. It shows 15 days at a time. Sites are down the side, grouped by category, and bookings are coloured bars. Use it to see what is free, open a booking or hold dates.
Reading the calendar
- Each row is a site; each column is a day. Select a category name to fold it up or open it.
- A coloured bar is a booking. The colour shows its status: confirmed, processing, pending or blocked. Cancelled bookings are not shown.
- A bar starts at the middle of the check-in day and ends at the middle of the check-out day, so a guest leaving and another arriving on the same day sit side by side.
- Hover over a bar for the guest and number of nights. Select a bar to open the booking.
- A closed site is greyed out and marked closed.
- Long-term sites are listed under Long Term Sites.
Moving around the calendar
- Use the arrows to move back or forward by about two weeks, or by a month. Use the date box to jump to any date.
- Select a site name to open its page. See Your sites.
Hold dates on a site
- Select the first free day, then the last, on one site’s row.
- Select the button that appears, for example Block 3 nights.
- The dates become a blocked booking: they cannot be booked, and no payment is needed.
- Blocked dates are still bookings. The booking fee applies to them. See Booking fees.
- A closed site cannot have dates blocked. Set it back to Active first.
- To release blocked dates, open the blocked booking and cancel it.
Start a long-term lease
- On a long-term site, select a free day. A New Lease button appears. Choose how long the lease runs and select it. The lease starts as a blocked booking; open it to add the tenant.
Calendar buttons
- New Booking makes a booking. See Bookings.
- Peak Periods opens your peak periods.
