A guest books on your park’s public page, checks the details, pays by card and confirms who is staying. They do not need an account.
How a guest books and pays
- Choose dates and a category on your park’s page. The price for the stay is shown for each category.
- Check the booking. The guest sees the dates, the nights with a price breakdown, the number of guests, the booking fee and the Amount Due. A countdown shows how long the site is held.
- Pay. Pay Now opens a secure card payment page headed “Pay for your stay at” your park. The guest enters their email and card details.
- Guest details. After paying, the guest is asked who is staying: name, email, phone and vehicle registration.
Booking fee, holds and online payment
- The booking fee of $3.00 is shown as its own line and is part of the amount the guest pays. See Booking fees.
- If the guest does not pay before the countdown ends, the booking is cancelled and the site is free again.
- A guest can cancel only an unpaid hold. Once they have paid, they see a message to contact your park, with your phone number and email.
- If your park has not connected Stripe, Pay Now is greyed out and reads “Online payment unavailable”. The guest is asked to call your park. See Stripe account.
- Returning guests can log in so their details are filled in.
- Guests receive emails from KissBook, such as a confirmation. See Emailing a guest.
