Payment methods are the ways a guest can pay for a booking. Card payment through KissBook is always there. Add your own methods, such as cash or bank transfer, for payments you take yourself.
What the payment methods page shows
- Online Bookings: card payment through KissBook and Stripe.
- Office Payment: the custom methods you have added.
Add a payment method
- Go to Accounts > Payment Methods and select the add button.
- Type a name, for example “Cash” or “Bank transfer” (up to 30 characters), and select Save.
Delete a payment method
- Select the delete icon beside it and confirm. Payments already recorded with that method stay on their bookings.
Using a payment method on a booking
- On the booking page you choose the method when you take payment. See Taking payment on a booking.
Booking fees on custom methods
- Guests pay the booking fee ($3.00, GST included) when they pay online. It goes straight to KissBook.
- A custom method has no card checkout, so the same fee is invoiced to your park each month. See Booking fees.
- The fee applies to every booking, however the guest pays.
