Every booking has a status. It shows how far the booking has got and whether it holds a site. You see the status as a coloured badge with the booking number, in the bookings list, on the calendar and on the booking page. Go to Bookings to see them.
Pending status
- A guest has chosen dates and a site, and has not paid yet.
- The site is held for 10 minutes. If no payment is recorded in that time the booking is cancelled automatically and the site is free again.
Processing status
- A guest has started a card payment and it is not confirmed yet.
- The site stays held. The booking moves to Confirmed once the payment goes through. If the payment fails it goes back to Pending.
- If the payment is not confirmed within 24 hours, the booking is cancelled automatically and the site is free again.
Confirmed status
- A paid booking, made by the guest or by the office. The site is booked.
- A booking with a payment on it is never cancelled automatically. You can change its dates, move it, add extras or cancel it. See Changing booking dates and Cancelling a booking.
Blocked status
- Dates your park holds for itself, for example for maintenance or private use. No guest and no payment is involved.
- The site is not available to guests. Cancel the block to free the dates.
Cancelled status
- No longer valid. The site is available again. It stays in your list so you keep the record.
- A cancelled booking cannot be brought back. Make a new booking instead.
When bookings are cancelled automatically
- Pending: after 10 minutes with no payment recorded.
- Processing: after 24 hours without a confirmed payment.
- Any booking with a payment on it is never cancelled automatically, and neither are Confirmed or Blocked bookings.
- Bookings made by the office follow the same times. Record the payment before the time is up, or the booking is cancelled.
Which statuses hold a site
- Pending, Processing, Confirmed and Blocked keep the site unavailable.
- Cancelled frees the site.
- Tick or untick the status boxes on the bookings list to show or hide each one.
